FREE

Suddenly during FREE fall, SocMo discovered he had packed his lunch... and not his chute!

Did I mention it was a FREE skydiving lesson :o)

THE REST OF THE STORY
I found myself with some time to kill this weekend while I was in a university photography studio. I found a Bic mechanical pencil laying around... and then some paper... so I doodled up some ideas for this weeks word. I thought you might like a look behind the scenes on this one.

SocMo keeps getting better and better, Jonsey... and I personally love seeing the "behind the scenes" shots. Its always a bonus to see the thought process and energy in early stage sketches and roughs! Superb - and many thanks for your kind words on my blog! Re: Painter - the interface is more sensitive than Photoshop's so drawing and painting on screen "feels much more natural. I've been paperless for a couple of years now, doing roughs and then "inks" in Photoshop, but Painter has such a broad range of natural media that the effect is limitless and experimenting endless.

Do give it a try!

I enjoyed this one. You wouldn't catch me doing that any time soon. Now if he could only reach that banana-he could pull a MacGyver and set up a make-shift banana chute. Well done.

That little sock monkey has got to be the cutest thing I've ever seen! I hope he is caught by another cartoon character with a bucket of water he can land safely into.

I don't know how I missed you in the other Ilustration Fridays. You're awesome!
