SocMo makes his latte money by doing a QUIET mime routine...

I thought I would play around with the Photoshop halftone filter on this one. I still don't know how to use the thing. I applied it at different settings and at different resolutions... trying to get something that I liked. After an hour or so... this was the best I could do. Oh... and I was very QUIET while I did this. yeah... right!
haha, very cute and funny illo. Love it! :)

ReplyDeleteOh, clever! Socmo the Mime. Heh. The dots are...interesting. Oh, and I've been using a brown Pilot Precise Rolling Ball, extra fine pen. Can't find a Micron that I like the line depth. What are you using?
ReplyDeleteI dont like the dots, sorry! but I like the illo tough...I like it clean.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments, guys... and gals....
ReplyDeleteThe dots aren't doing exactly what I want them to do... but it was something different. I hope I can figure out the secret to it.
Paula... I have a mug full of various pens... I try them all but don't really have a favorite yet. I seem to pick up the PITT artist pen "S" a lot.
No, no...leave it! This creates the effect that a Mime creates in the imaginary world. AWESOME piece! (And I oughta know, I'm a former professional Mime/artist!!)
ReplyDeleteNice work! Photoshop filters can be such a mystery at times!
