I learned this poem when I was in high school... which was a looooong time ago. I always thought it was by Ogden Nash, but I could'nt verify that on the internets. There seem to be other versions of it around... which have a bit different wording. They are WRONG! This is the TRUE, CORRECT, AUTHENTIC version. You guys deserve the best, right?
Nice one - love the faces. For some reason I thought the poem was from Winnie the Pooh - some education eh?
ReplyDeletePerfect work! Both protagonists look very funny!
ReplyDeleteI smiled big when I saw/read this! Funny and perfectly illustrated. Self portrait there...?
ReplyDeleteduncan and vhrsti... thanks!
ReplyDeletepj... self portrait? ...more or less... :o)
hey, I learn something new everyday! Honey DO keep peas on the knife!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the poem and the artwork!
ReplyDeleteExcellent!
ReplyDeleteI eat my peas with ketchup
Which makes it all quite runny
And when I'm good and fed up
I give them to my bunny.
So funny, cute poem as well, (by the way I eat my peas mixed in mashed potatoes keeps them from falling as well).
ReplyDeleteNice! I didn't know that one. Thanks for bringing a little culture into my life. ;P
ReplyDeleteAHahahah...awesome! I love it :D It make me laugh out loud and have to show my friend next to me. He loved it too.
