Downton Abbey

Yep, I've been watching that British period costume drama Downton Abbey. Among the many interesting characters is Mr. Carson. I started drawing him a couple of days ago and finally came up with this. I had some fun with those eyebrows! Did I over do it? The final episode is this Sunday. It will be interesting to see what cliff-hanger they leave us with this time.

SocMo has decided to throw his hat in the ring for president of the United States. Unfortunately, he could not remove his hat because it is attached to his head. Just one of the many obstacles to overcome when you are a sock monkey running for president.

Shiny Nosed Dagnabit

In my backyard, in the heart of suburbia, we now have a doe and a fawn who regularly dine on our roses and drool at our garden. That is why there is a 6 foot fence around the garden. Other critters here include skunks, chipmunks, foxes, and rabbits. The bottom of our garden fence has a layer of rabbit guard fencing running along it. Tiny ants are invading the bathroom, mosquitoes are buzzing... sometimes I think all of nature is out to get me! The one animal I have not seen around here is the Shiny nosed Dagnabit. But I'm keeping my eye out for him. Dagnabit!
