GLAMOUR

SocMo keeps up with all the Hollywood GLAMOUR at the grocery store check out line.

********************************

I will be crazy busy with work this week, so I think the best I can do is put up this pencil drawing. BUT it is baked fresh just for you! NOT one of those frozen artworks that others pull out of their freezer, defrost, and post. Nope this is made with the freshest, natural, organic materials and delivered right to you. enjoy!

I have learned, as SocMo shows us here, that you can get all the news you need standing in line at the supermarket, reading the covers of those fish-wraps. Quirky how the media dictates what's important. Great take on the topic.

Fun! The linework IS really fresh, the advertising didn't lie! I love the tape coming out of the cash register and the wonderbreadesque polka dots on the bread wrapper. You're great with details like that!

This is good, really smart. I really like the way you look at this topic, it's a great angle. First time I'm on your blog btw.

Cheers.

Fresh, timely, and torn from the tab headlines. Socmo scores again, even in pencil.

Socmo and social commentary...a great combination! In fact, it's as good as bread aabd bananas. It amuses me that the public talks incessantly about celebs as if we know them personally...hah! Thanks for the fresh Socmo. I (one of the miscreants who takes out old work fromt time to time) am humbled by your swift and masterful illustration - completed with grace under pressure to delight Socmo's adoring fans. Thanks:>>>> It's always a delight to check in on his adventures.

Problem detected, SocMo: no one cares, but in the end we are all happy to have something to talk about with our grannies...
Thanks for the fresh art work, it´s being appreciated!

heehee. it's amazing the "news" you can absorb in the checkout line...almost by osmosis...never having to even touch one of those rags, let alone open them!

ROFL...another great message from SocMo!

So fresh I had to slap it. Looking at your other work, it would be nice to see it finished, although sketches are wonderful too. I'm glad I stopped by.

food over glamour; socmo's got traditional values. he's not your garden variety 'monkey-see, monkey-do.'
