Toy
Once upon a time I was a little kid. Hard to believe, eh? That was a looong time ago, but I still have a toy I played with back then. A sock monkey. That sock monkey was the inspiration for a character I designed that I named SocMo, which is a shortened form of sock monkey. I'm still trying to decide what to do with this character. He could be the next Mickey Mouse. It could happen. Right? I'm waiting for some direction on what SocMo needs to do. Where is my muse when I need him? Probably sipping coffee at Starbucks. I better get over there and buy him another round...

nice to see SocMo again!
Hey Doug! Sockmo is off the hook! Great character and cool concept. Love it!! Oh and Hey I love your dino sketches from you last post! They are GREAT!
I had a sock monkey, too. I adore SockMo!!
Oops I mean SocMo. He wouldn't like having his name misspelled, I'm sure.
He is so cute!!! So what are socmo's adventures going to be? Does he live in a cool treehouse or a sock draw? Does he have a job? I love him I think he is really cute!!
He is very loveable!

Awesome Sockmo!
What a great character!
I can see this guy on TV and bedsheets. Great job!
I had a sock monkey too, but Monkey Tim wasn't nearly as cool as SocMo!
Great character!
I love SocMo...You know, I even voted for him for president, ya' know? Remember his buttons? His campaign? Hmmmm? It's good to see his cute face again! And yes, one day I envision a SocMo Land ala Mickey Mouse :)
