Some people throw things when they are mad. Can you believe it? The challenge on this little spot illo was to put something that fits a horizontal format into a vertical one. The idea here was that the guy is mad and chucked the football at the other guy's head. As I look at it now... I''m not sure this reads like that. Looks more like the other guy is not ducking, but just surprised by the football. I hope it works better in context. Oh, well...

DUCK!
Some people throw things when they are mad. Can you believe it? The challenge on this little spot illo was to put something that fits a horizontal format into a vertical one. You did a great job with the vertical formatting, btw. Yeah, I don't think it looks like he's ducking exactly, but more like he...uhm...well, like he's falling. Is this a done deal already? Not sure you want to hear that then! The big kid definitely looks angry and that he tossed the ball!
This is long gone. It would be better if I had more time to fiddle with it, but the deadline was upon me so I did it and sent it off. I'm thinking it makes sense in context with the copy.
